IndianArmy in collaboration with Sewaj Neesim Foundation distributed school bags at Army Goodwill School, Baraub (Gurez). Happiness is seeing the smile on students’ faces as a step was taken towards nurturing their dreams.

Army Goodwill School comes under the aegis of OP Sadbhavna in J&K. Many Goodwill schools have been established across J&K with focus on providing quality education to local children and empower them to build a brighter future for themselves.

The bags that were distributed to the schools were made by #sewajneesim using old uniforms, voluntarily, donated to us for the purpose of upcycling and recycling for our cause #vardikasamman.

23rd May 2024, It has been a matter of pride and honour for our NGO

It has been a matter of pride and honour for our NGO to have been able to distribute 75 schools bags, made by upcycling/recycling the old defence uniforms, to the local children studying in government schools at Aman Setu in Uri Sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

These bags are made of uniforms that are sent to our NGO, for the cause “Vardi Ka Samman”, by the bravehearts of our country as a voluntary contribution.

We salute the spirit of the soldiers and their ‘Neesim’ services for the nation.

Also, in the month of May 75 school bags and 25 laptop bags were presented to Army Wives Welfare Association in Northern Command. These bags, thereafter, were distributed by AWWA to the following schools:

  1. ASHA School, Udhampur
  2. ASHA School, Mathura
  3. ASHA School, Prayagraj

On 15th May 2024, a donation programme was organised by the Navy Wives Welfare Organisation

Our Founder attended the programme organised by NWWA and handed over to them 30 utility bags made out of upcycled and recycled uniforms of the defence personnel.

NWWA also organised a collection of old uniforms at Mumbai and donated the same to Sewaj Neesim Foundation for our cause.

The bags are made out of old uniforms, that can no longer be worn by our soldiers for various reasons, which are upcycled or recycled by our NGO. Supporting the cause “Vardi Ka Samman”. These upcycled/recycled products are then donated to various organisations supporting those in need.

March 2024, We take pride in our association with Gurukul Kalapataru Aravindam

We take pride in our association with Gurukul Kalapataru Aravindam and grateful for the opportunity to be able to return there and organise donation programs. Today, most of the children attending classes at Gurukul have been able to get a school bag made from the upcycled uniforms donated to us by the bravehearts of our nation on voluntary basis. Gurukul Kalapataru in Gurugram, Haryana is a school and cultural training centre for the local children, belonging to the economic weaker section.

The school aims to ensure a brighter future for these children by providing training in all possible arenas, like, music, art, dance, basic education.

On Friday, 16th Feb, the Rotary Nilgiris Coonoor organised a programme for a local school

The children of Bettati School Coonoor were presented with school bags made from old uniforms of our defence personnel.

These uniforms are voluntarily donated to our organisation in support of the cause “Vardi Ka Samman”. These uniforms are converted into products of utility and further donated.

We are grateful to have contributed in bringing a smile on these wonderful children’s faces through our cause Vardi ka Samman.

We had the opportunity to meet the wonderful children and teachers at Maanas Shiksha in Gurugram

Maanas Shiksha Centre is an English Medium institute that provides holistic education to primary school children. The students here are provided with free quality education across academic and non-academic subjects such as arts, sports etc. for children up to Grade 5. The children here are from the locality who cannot afford basic education. The institute aims to empower them with basic education and help them transfer to senior grades by coordinating with local government and private schools.

Sewaj Neesim Foundation visited their centre and distributed bags made of upcycled old uniforms donated to us, voluntarily, by the personnel of the defence forces.

Indian Army conducted a donation drive for children from schools in their area

School bags made from uniforms donated by the defence personnel, post their use, were distributed to the students.

The students were felicitated based on their performance and dedication during Agniveer training camp and participation in various events.

These students came from various border area schools like Govt SS school Munabao, Govt Resident Girls School, Jaisindhar, Govt Higher Secondary School Jaisindhar, Govt Senior Secondary School Ranasar, Govt Higher Secondary School Gadra rd. Munnabao is a district in Rajasthan at the Indo-Pak border.

DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL BAG On occasion of Children's Day

Army in collaboration with Sewaj Neesim Foundation distributed School Bags to the underprivileged students at Roorkee to brighten the educational journey of young minds.

It was an honour to have been able to bring smile on the students’ face through our products, made from upcycling uniforms donated to us on voluntary basis by the country’s Braveheart.

A donation program was conducted on 8th November 2023

A donation program was conducted at Ab Normal (अब Normal) Home at Pune on 8th November. It is a rehabilitation and development centre for children with special needs.

The aim of the centre is to help the children with academics and opportunities for becoming self-sufficient, with the help of psychologists and educators.

An interactive session was organised with the children and post that they were presented with bags made from using the uniforms that were voluntarily donated to us by the brave soldiers of our country.

On 25th August’23 a donation drive at a local school in Gurugram, Haryana

On 25th August’23 a donation drive at a local school in Gurugram, Haryana was organised. The school Gurukul Kalpataru Aravindam was presented with school bags made out of recycled uniforms, donated by the defence services of the nation for the cause of Vardi ka Samman. 

Gurukul India works to benefit underprivileged communities, through Indian Heritage, Education and Entrepreneurial skills. It enhances educational and financial prospects of children and women from economically weaker background by Creating inspiring learning environment Supporting entrepreneurial development Nurturing talent, ambition and determination Promoting Indian Culture and Heritage Education.

The foundation provides free academic and Indian heritage Learning (Yoga, Sanskrit, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Classical singing, Drums) for underprivileged children, in after school hours. Training them to be skilled trainers of timeless arts.

Distribution of bags by Army in Pinjora

On 17th Aug 2023, a visit and interaction was organised by Indian Army with kids at an orphanage in Pinjora to boost their morale. During the interaction the kids were motivated to join the Indian Army and were made aware of how security forces  safeguard  and help “AWAM” at the time of need.

As a goodwill gesture the kids were presented with school bags which are made using uniforms of army personnel. Thes uniforms  are voluntarily donated to our foundation, Sewaj Neesim, for the cause of Vardi ka Samman.

The event instilled a feeling of belongingness and provided a sense of security and trust among the locals and children. It also provided a platform to create awareness amongst children about armed forces.

Donation at Bhopal on 15/08/2023 by AWWA

A donation program was held in Bhopal on 15th August 2023, which was organised by the Army Wives Welfare Association. The products were donated through an NGO EK JUT which runs a school for underprivileged under one of its project. The children in this school are from nearby slum areas.

These products are made from upcycled uniforms, voluntarily donated to Sewaj Neesim Foundation by the Defence personnel for our cause ‘Vardi Ka Samman’.

Donation drive by our NGO Donation Sewaj Neesim Foundation in Gandhinagar on 31/07/2023

On 31st July 2023, a distribution ceremony was held in Gandhinagar for children at two orphanages by Parbat Ali Brigade.

Children from orphanages -Special Children Home and Govt. Children home in Gandhinagar, Gujrat received bags made from upcycled uniforms that are voluntarily donated to us by the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. Due to this kind donation, we are able to reach out to those less fortunate and provide for their basic needs.

It was a moment of pride and joy for me to be at Kargil War Memorial and pay tribute to our Martyrs and also gift school bags, made by our NGO, to the children of Army Goodwill School, Dras. 

These school bags are made by the uniforms voluntarily donated to our NGO by the bravehearts of our nation for the cause of ‘Vardi ka Samman’.

Donation drive by Indian Army in Govt Middle school at Northern Command

Northern Command celebrated it’s 52nd raising day this month. And Sewaj Neesim had the honour to be a part of it by having our School bags made of upcycled uniforms distributed amongst those in need by the Army and AWWA.

50 school bags were distributed amongst children of Govt Middle school  Sansoo and Govt Middle school Thill.

Donation drive in Assam by Indian Army on 16th December to commemorate Vijay Diwas

We at Sewaj Neesim Foundation are happy to share that in collaboration with Indian Army at Assam 150 School bags were distributed to Students of Vikas Vidyalaya on 16 Dec 2022 for the occasion of Vijay Diwas of the 71 war. Donation program on 14 th November 2022 Ghar Angna School

Sewaj Neesim Foundation on 14th November, 2022 conducted a donation drive at Ghar Angna School  in Gurugram, Haryana.

The school was started in 2008 from a footpath and at present is running with about 90 students studying here for primary education.

Sewaj Neesim Foundation provided the students of the school as a part of the donation drive school bags and carry bags made of upcycled uniform of the soldiers of the Indian Army, on the occasion of Children’s Day.

On 03 Nov 2022 a Presentation Ceremony was conducted at Keran village in Kupwara, J&K to distribute among NCC Cadets and school girls, bags made from recycled Army Uniforms as part of the ‘Vardi Ka Samman’ initiative of Sewaj Nessim Foundation with the help of Indian Army.

To mark the occasion of Kargil Vijay Divas on 26th July 2022, Sewaj Neesim Foundation conducted a donation drive near Pune at an NGO by the name of SAVALI.

SAVALI is a Rehabilitation centre for special children with intellectual disability, learning disability, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, autism, etc.

Sewaj Neesim Foundation conducted a donation program at Jhajhar, Haryana on 29 May 2022.

The donation was conducted at ADAA (Apni Duniya Apna Ashiana) charitable trust- for special children. ADAA’s uniqueness lies in the fact that it just doesn’t keep children in-house but addresses their needs wherever they are, also looking at root causes of the problems like begging, child labour, victims of abuse, orphans and destitute.

Sewaj Neesim Foundation donated school bags made out of old and recycled uniforms donated voluntarily by the Indian defence forces to the organization to help the children of migrant workers in rural brick kilns, living in rural slums in desolate areas and being introduced to formal education for the first time and your contribution of school bags will facilitate their studies.

Gurukul, Kalpataru Aravindam, Haryana

Sewaj Neesim Foundation on Tuesday, 23rd November organised a donation drive at a local school in Gurugram, Haryana. The school Gurukul Kalpataru Aravindam was presented with school bags and masks made out of recycled uniforms donated by the defence services of the the nation.

The Gurukul Kalpataru Aravindam was started in 2009 with three children under a Keekar tree. Aravindam India works to benefit underprivileged communities, through Indian Heritage, Education and Entrepreneurial skills. Aravindam India enhances educational and financial prospects of under served children

Paraplegic Rehab Centre, Pune

The unwavering spirit of the defence forces towards serving the nation is also exhibited in the vision and mission statements of the Sewaj Neesim Foundation.

Our dedicated team did a donation drive at PRC (Paraplegic Rehab Centre) of utility items made by re- using the generously donated uniforms by our defence forces personnel. 

We are grateful to the defence  for supporting our cause and allowing us to honour the uniforms worn by them.

ASHA school, Delhi

Happy to have received the warm response by the students at ASHA school for differently abled students.

The products made by Sewaj Neesim Foundation were immediately put to use and enjoyed.

We are looking forward to contribute more to these wonderful children in future.

ASHA school, Pune

On Friday,13-Aug 2021 Capt Chinchanikar (retd), Vice President South of Sewaj Neesim Foundation, conducted a donation drive at ASHA School for children with special needs at Pune.

We at Sewaj Neesim Foundation distributed Bibs, Masks, Aprons and Sling Bags made out of Army Uniforms, donated by our bravehearts, to each student. We also presented Sling Bags to the staff who looks after the Children. 

We had invited a Senior Manager from Honda Motors to do the honours.

And interacted with ASHA school to understand their needs so we can continue serving in future.

Indian Army Day

To mark Indian Army Day on 15th of January 2022, our NGO- Sewaj Neesim Foundation carried out a Donation program at Pune for specially abled children. 

The children were gifted with school bags, masks and other products made by recycling of the  uniforms voluntarily sent by our Bravehearts of the defence forces, for a social cause. During the program, keeping COVID guidelines in mind, minimum attendance was planned. Capt Chinchanikar (veteran 1976 batch ) and Vice President South, represented the NGO.

Government school donation

Sewaj Neesim Foundation on Friday, 1st October, organised a donation drive at a government school that comes under RTE. 

This donation drive was powered by Federal Bank where we were able to donate 400 masks and 80 school bags for the staff and the students.

These bags and masks that were donated are made out of the uniforms generously donated by the defence services. 

Sewaj Neesim is forever grateful to both, the defence services and the Federal Bank for making this donation drive a success.

December 2023, During the month of December,

We were invited to put our stalls at two army cantonments; The Winter Carnival at  Delhi and Exhibition cum sales event at Pathankot. The events at which we placed our stalls were organised by the Army Wives Welfare Association. Our efforts towards this unique cause were acknowledged and appreciated by everyone in the hierarchy, as our cause addressed a long-standing concern.

15th January is celebrated as Indian Army Day

And this year we had the honour to be invited for participating in the celebrations. We were invited to put our stall at Lucknow, where the Army Day Parade was conducted for the first time, for display and for sale.

We received an overwhelming response from the forces and the civil population. Our efforts towards “Vardi Ka Samman” were appreciated by all, equally.
