Here are some of the frequently asked questions
Sewaj (SEna WAyu Jal) Neesim Foundation is an organisation started by retired army officers who were concerned about how to dispose the old worn out uniforms with the honour it deserves. There are various kinds of uniforms a soldier wears in all the three services and when the uniforms reach the end of its life cycle, how to dispose them with dignity is a major concern. The uniforms can not be donated as they are and shredding and burning are also not viable options.
Thus, Sewaj Neesim came into being. At Sewaj Neesim Foundation, the aim is to collect these uniforms from the three services across the country and upcycle them into products that are useful in daily lives, like, blankets, masks, bibs, aprons, bags, etc.
These products would be then donated to underprivileged children, children with special needs, people at old-age homes and anyone else in need.
